Welcome to BODHI — a 21+ Thai craft cocktail bar and bistro where flavor, spirit, and community come together. Locally owned and proudly Indy grown, we mix authentic Thai cooking with modern cocktails, good energy, and the kind of hospitality that feels like home.
Our food tells the story of three generations of Thai women who’ve been cooking, laughing, and sharing recipes for decades. The bar takes that same spirit and spins it into bright, seasonal drinks with Thai ingredients, clever twists, and a whole lot of personality.
Inside feels cozy and industrial chic, with the hum of good conversation and clinking glasses. Outside, our patio is its own little oasis — lush, relaxed, and made for lingering.

Good to know before you visit
We’re so glad you’re coming in. BODHI is a small, high-energy space, and everything we do is designed to keep the flow smooth, so everyone gets a chance to enjoy it. Here are a few helpful things to know ahead of time.
Reservations and walk ins
We offer reservations to help keep things running smoothly, especially during the winter months.
Walk ins are always welcome, but availability can be limited. During colder months, about 75 to 80 percent of seating is reserved, with 20 to 25 percent held for walk ins each night.
During patio season, things open up more, with closer to a 50/50 split between reservations and walk ins.
Our indoor dining room seats 51 guests. When the patio is open, we have about 70 additional seats outside.
Reservations open 7 days in advance. A card on file is required to reserve. If anything comes up, just let us know at least 12 hours ahead. Late cancellations, no shows, or last-minute changes may incur a $25 per person fee.

We kindly ask that you read our policies before booking.
Arrival timing
We hold reservations for 15 minutes. If you are running late, just let us know and we will always do our best to accommodate. We typically wait until your full party has arrived before seating.
Dining time and waitlist
Because our space is intimate, we operate with a 90-minute dining time. This helps us manage the flow of the room while still giving you time to relax and enjoy. You will receive a friendly 15-minute heads up near the end of your time.
If you arrive late, your dining time may be shortened as other guests are scheduled after you.
If you are quoted a wait of 30 minutes or more, we encourage you to explore the neighborhood, grab a drink nearby, or take a stroll. We will text or page you when your table is ready and hold it for 15 minutes.
When does the kitchen close?
Our kitchen’s last call is one hour before closing, so you still have time for a nightcap or a few last bites before we wrap up. The full bar stays open until the final hour of service.
21+ and ID policy
BODHI is a 21+ cocktail bar. Please bring a valid physical ID to enter and enjoy alcoholic beverages.
By law, we cannot accept photocopies or photos of IDs.
Patio season and large parties
On Fridays and Saturdays, we are unable to accommodate parties larger than 12 guests.
When the patio is open, we can accommodate parties of up to 12 guests outdoors.
During winter or inclement weather, indoor seating is limited. We can accommodate parties of up to 7 guests for both walk ins and reservations.
For groups of 8 or more, please contact us directly at reservations@bodhi-indy.com and we will do our best to coordinate. Availability for larger parties is very limited and not guaranteed.

Outside food, cakes, and pets
We love celebrations and are happy to accommodate outside cakes from licensed bakeries. A small outside food fee will be added for service and cleanup.
For everyone’s safety and in accordance with Indiana health code, no other outside food or drinks are allowed.
We love animals, but no pets are allowed inside or on the patio. Service animals are always welcome.
